Q1: Why did El Campo Little League move to an online registration process?

A1: El Campo Little League took a pro-active step to begin this process. Little League, Incorporated has endorsed online registration and has helped its members move in this direction. Online registration will help eliminate redundancy and aid in securing required documents. We are happy to have instituted this process and we believe this will make registration smoother for years to come.

 

 

Q2: Will I receive a registration letter in the mail this year? 

A2: We are not mailing out registration letters this year. All participants will need to use the website to register their child(ren).

 

Q3: Is there an App I can download on a Smart Device? 

A3:  Yes. The app is called "GameDay by LeagueToolbox". It is available for any Apple device or Android phone. Click here for more information. 

 

Q4:  I created an account on the El Campo Little League website and did not pay. Am I registered for the upcoming season?

A4:  No. Anyone can create an account on the El Campo Little League website. Your child(ren) is/are not registered until the registration process is complete and will not be eligible for draft.

 

Q5:  Do I have to upload a certified birth certificate and proof of residency?

A5:  Yes, these are required documents per Little League International Rules and Regulations. Your registration is not complete until these documents are received and your child cannot be eligible for draft until we receive and approve them. The proof of residency document must have a service date between February of current year or later. Examples of proof of residency documents are Driver's License, Voter's Registration, School records, Federal records, State records, Homeowner or tenant records, Utility bills, Financial records, Medical records, Military records, Vehicle records, Insurance documents.

 

Q6: My child played in the past and I already presented these documents. Do I have to present them again?

A6: Yes. Little League International requires these documents be kept on file for each child participating in the league. Please take the time to upload these documents for your child(ren). They will be kept on file for the remainder of their Little League career.

 

Q7:  How do I upload these documents to the website?

A7:  Most scanners have the ability to scan a document and save them into an electronic format. Login into the website with your username and pasword, click on the My Registrations link on the left side of the page.  An invoice list will appear with a red box labeled Required Documents. Click the Required Documents box. Click the “Upload Document” link, select the “browse button”, and find the file you saved on your PC. Click the “Upload Document” button when you have selected the appropriate file.

Another option is to use the "GameDay App" by Leaguetoolbox to upload these documents. It available for download at the Apple or Android store. Under your registrations a user has the ability to take a picture of these documents with their Smart Device and upload them to their child(ren)'s profile. Make sure the pictures are legible before they are uploaded. 

 

Q8:  I don’t have access to a scanner. What else can I do?

A8:  Use the "GameDay App" by Leaguetoolbox to upload these documents. It available for download at the Apple or Android store. Under your family registrations a user has the ability to take a picture of these documents with their Smart Device and upload them to their child(ren)'s profile. Make sure the pictures are legible before they are uploaded. 

 

Q9:  I don’t have access to a scanner or a Smart Device. What are my options?

A9:  Mail a legible Xerox copy of the certified birth certificate and proof of residency document to:

Q10:  Will I have to upload the required documents every year?

A10:  No, this information will be tied to your account and will be retained from year to year. You will have to sign in to confirm all of your information is still current from the previous year.

 

Q11:  Why do I have to fill out the Medical Information section?

A11:  Little League Baseball, Incorporated, requires a medical form to be carried for each child participating in Little League. This form will be given to each manager of the team to carry with them during the season.

 

Q12:  If I volunteer to be a manager, coach or umpire, does Little League Baseball, Incorporated, require a background check?

A12:  Yes, per Little League Rules and Regulations, a background check must be completed on all volunteers.

 

Q13:  When does the season start?

A13:  The season usually runs from the March to the end of May. The dates and times are yet to be determined.

 

Q14:  When will the schedules be available?

Q14:  Schedules will be available as soon as the draft is completed.

 

Q15:  When is the El Campo Little League draft?

A15:  The ECLL draft occurs in February. The date and times will be posted in the online calendar.

 

Q16: How do I change my child's shirt size in the website?

A16: Login into the website with your username and password, click on the My Registrations link on the left side of the page.  An invoice list will appear for your child(ren). Find the Registration Questions button corresponding to the appropriate child and click on this link. Change the jersey size to the one you need. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the save button. 

 

Q17:  What does my registration fee pay for?

A17:  The registration fees helps pay for maintenance, utilities, umpire fees, baseball/softball equipment, uniforms, Little League charter, All Stars and league insurance. The registration fee only covers half of our costs per child. The remaining portion is offset with sponsorships and fundraisers throughout the year. A big thanks goes out to our generous sponsors.

 

Q18: I am not receiving any emails from El Campo Little League.

A18:  Log into your email provider and check your junk mail or spam folder. Make sure you add the  "@elcampolittleleague.com" domain to your safe senders list.
